It’s the start of October so that means it’s spooky season! If Halloween and Christmas are your two favorite holidays than this soon to be LIVE performance of The Nightmare Before Christmas will be right up your alley. On December 6th & 7th (yeah you read that right, two nights!) Brooklyn’s Barclays Center will be putting this event on. The genius behind the score and all of the songs, Denny Elfman, will be there in person to sing the voice of Jack! Catherine O’Hara will be the voice of Sally and Ken Page will be the voice of Oogie Boogie. A full orchestra performance will also be companying them while the movie is screened behind them. To top it all off Barclays Center will become your one stop shop for all things Halloween! There will of course be a costume contest (advice: dress up like Tim Burton characters) and lots of photo ops! Tickets for this show will probably sell out pretty quickly! Get yours on October 6th at 10 am, but if you’re just too excited and don’t want to miss this opportunity then you can get them early via the BrooklynVegan presale that begins Wednesday (10/4) at 10 AM.
