Although it’s still the beginning of NBA preseason , Carmelo Anthony definitely left an first impression in Oklahoma City Tuesday night! With the absence of Russell Westbrook because of a minor knee issue, Anthony showed his skills by scoring 19 points in 19 minutes before taking a seat for the second half of the OKC Thunder vs The Houston Rockets game. He even scored the first of his points with a 3-pointer which helped scored OKC’s first nine points of the game. After Carmelo’s recent trade from the New York Knicks , he told reporters later on after the game that he was trying to figure out his new situation with his new teammates and how they play together. Carmelo also mentioned that he felt happy and motivated again after the game. Now that the hard part of fitting in with the team is over, we’re looking forward to watching Melo on the court this season.
