McDonald’s 24K Gold Chicken McNuggets

McDonald’s along with advertising agency, DDB Hong Kong, have created a virtual campaign that asks customers to steal a box of 24-karat gold Chicken McNuggets, and for this campaign, they both teamed up to bring back the popular McDonald’s mascot, “Jack the Dipper.” The reason being is so customers can join the “Dipper League,” which is where they can play a series of missions via online games to win the nuggets.

According to HypeBeast, Randy Lai, CEO at McDonald’s Hong Kong, said,“This fully integrated campaign is a creative story-telling-game-playing at its best. Because not only has DDB Group Hong Kong created a creative narrative, but they also brought it to life, because one of Hong Kong’s favorite past times is video content and packaging.”
