From spaceships to lightsabers, Star Wars is infamous for being dorky! The franchise has certainly exploded since Disney bought out the rights to the Star Wars movies and everyone is crazy about the recently released films. Rag & Bone has caught onto the Star Wars trend and created simplistic and tasteful everyday designs.
As you can see the garments disregard any typical Star Wars nerdy cosplay costumes and instead have an urban street wear appeal. The subtle designs on the clothing resemble the films in a way that only true fans would catch onto.
The most obvious resemblance to the Star Wars franchise is the matching pants and jacket that refer to Han Solo’s flying gear.
On Rag & Bone‘s website Wainwright states,“Our approach was really to re-imagine some of our favorite rag & bone pieces while taking influence from some of our most memorable moments of past and present Star Wars films.” The Star Wars fan boy, Marcus Wainwright partnered up with the jedi himself, Mark Hamill to create a short film for the brand.
