Helmut Lang x NYC’s Yellow Taxis In Latest Capsule

If you’ve been keeping up with Helmut Lang, you would know about the release of their latest capsule collection labelled “Taxi Project.” This capsule is believed to be a tribute to the year 1998 where Lang was the first designer ever to advertise on top of New York City’s yellow taxis. He has then taken inspiration from that moment and produced new advertisements on some 275 taxis across the city for his latest work. And to stay true to the taxi theme, the advertisement for the project itself features three real taxi drivers wearing the brand’s items and a paragraph on their personal background as well making this collection feel real, honest and raw.  On top of that, the brand has also released limited-edition T-shirts and hoodies that reflect the designer’s inspiration. All items from this collection are available now online.
