Nike has announced plans to open a new 69,000 square-foot flagship store in New York. Niketown on 57th Street will be closing in spring 2018, while the new store is expected to launch on 650 Fifth Ave at West 52nd Street in early 2019.
The building is five stories, and will include “multi-sport assortment of product innovation and services” and a Hyperlive retail concept space. NikePlus members will also have a floor dedicated to them, which will feature personal shopping advice from a Nike Expert alongside exclusive products and customization.
Another great edition will be that the Nike app will be integrated into the store. Nike fans will be able to scan shoes on the floor to see if the model is available in their size and colorway.
