Former WWE wrestler and superstar actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
On Dec. 13, there will be a ceremony honoring Johnson in his motion pictures category for his success and status as a international box-office star.
“Not only does Dwayne have a great personality and talent, but he also does a great amount of philanthropic work which is part of the criteria for earning an immortal spot on the Walk of Fame,” producer of Walk of Fame ceremonies Ana Martinez said, according to Variety. “We envision scores of photos being taken at his star by his fans.”
Johnson has been doing movies since his first leading role as a villain in 2002 for “The Scorpion King.” He then started to do the other small movies before making a prominent role as Hobbs in the Fast and the Furious franchise. Then started to be the main character on HBO’s series, “Ballers,” which provided major hits for the viewers. And finally doing “Jumanji” along with other future projects such as “Rampage” and a possibly Fast and the Furious spin off.
The most electrifying man in the entertainment world just continues to become a bigger star than anyone thought he could be. Now his legacy will be remembered forever in the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.
