The hip-hop group Migos was established in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 2008. Coach K, who had previously handled Jeezy and Gucci Mane, oversaw the group. They frequently worked with producers including Buddah Bless, Zaytoven, DJ Durel, and Murda Beatz. Acknowledged as a pioneer of trap music in the 2010s, the Migos "influenced pop culture and the entire English language by bringing their North Atlanta roots to the mainstream," according to Billboard.
