Nike Introduces Kyrie 4 'Year of the Monkey'

After news of the “41 for the Ages” colorway, Nikeannounced the release date for the Kyrie 4 “Year of the Monkey” sneakers.

This particular sneaker is to pay homage to Kyrie Irving‘s birth year, which is 1992. The year falls under the monkey according to the Chinese zodiac calendar. The Kyrie 4 features a black upper with two different materials: a fancy, embossed zodiac pattern with a rough-hewn swoosh on the heel and collar, and a toned-down mesh on the midfoot and toebox. The shoe also features contrasting monkey logos on the tongue, red on the right and blue on the left.

The shoe is going to be re-release on Apr. 15 at Nike stores and select retailers for $120.
