Nike Starting A New Trend?

For the past year, there have been many sneaker trends with mixed feelings from sneakerheads. The most recognized one was the “Dad Shoe” trend. Many ridiculous and amazing sneakers have emerged, and from different brands. These brands include Balenciaga, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Adidas, and Nike. Having the “designer” aspect to them, the sneakers are sold at very high prices. Despite the success, everybody knew this fad would pass. Except nobody knew that the new era of sneakers would include space boots.

The new Nike Moon Racer silhouette will release in two colorways: Black/White-Wolf Grey and Black/Sail-Volt. These sneakers feature a large “React” midsole, a “Flyknit” upper, an oversized swoosh, and “N I K E” written across the back pull tab. These shoes are inspired by the 1972 Nike Moon sneaker. Although people can say what they want about these sneakers, whoever enjoyed the Balenciaga Triple S, for example, will most certainly like these. They are stylish and can be worn with any outfit. These will also be perfect for an everyday beater during spring. While not being the cheapest sneaker, they are affordable for the average joe. Retailing for $150, the sneakers will be available in stores Aug. 2.
