This week’s sneaker choice is a special one, Jordan does it again with the release of Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG dressed in a “Chicago” color scheme with an icy blue outsole, a matching royal blue tongue, and unique upper embellishments.
It’s no coincident that this release is going down in conjunction with the debut of the animated “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse” Movie and everyone’s favorite neighborhood vigilante. The hero character, Miles Morales will be seen wearing these Sneakers that happens to match Spidey’s suit to a T. This real-life adaption of the sneaker features tumbled leather and spider-web patterns that will excite any fan of the web-slinging superhero. It isn’t just the shoe itself that makes it work, though. It’s also that Miles is specifically wearing the legendary Chicago colorway, one of the first Jordan colorways ever released. The classic red/white/black edition is more or less universally regarded as one of the greatest and most important sneakers of all time.
These kicks are set to release this Friday 12/14 on www.jordan.com and at select retailers globally ($160 Adults/ $120 Kids) on the same day of the Movie which will be a great day for Marvel fans and Sneaker Heads everywhere.
