Air Jordan 9 Now Comes in 'UNC' Colors

With the 2019 NBA All Star Weekend being hosted in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Jordan Brand released the Air Jordan 9 in the University of North Carolina blue-toned colors.

It is only fitting for the brand to pay homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater in lew of the upcoming February event. The new sneaker is mainly navy and white, which creates a sleek contrast. The leather overlays, as well as the eyelets, are all a deep navy. The entirety of the shoe is a crisp white. And the UNC defining color, Carolina blue, is used for the Jumpan logos at the heel, midfoot, and outsole.

The tongue of the shoe is complete with the Air Jordan text branding. The UNC colored Air Jordan 9, priced at $190, will be available February 9 at select Jordan Brand Retailers and Nike.com.
