This week in Sneaker News, we’d like to introduce the newest addition to the Air Max Family: The Nike Air Max 720 “Northern Lights” which are also referred to as the “Aurora Borealis”. This latest drop will be the kick off for the new silhouette’s run of grandiose, nature-derived color ways. With the success of the popular Air Max 270, the 720 couldn’t have come at a better time. The 720’s cushioning unit features the most Air ever in a Swoosh Brand sneaker, and provides all-day comfort for commuters to athletes. A magnificent iridescent purple color inspired by nighttime Northern Lights hues also ensures that the cushioning unit/midsole looks as good as it performs. The dark grey textured mesh upper then adds further to the retro-futuristic look, opting to use large abstract plastic/mesh overlays instead of bold branded hits, and the shoe is completed by Air Max text graphics on the tongue.
Nature-focused Nike Air Max 720 colorways are due out on February 28 as a part of a “Nature” Pack. Look for the collection to drop on February 28.
