K-Pop sensations Monsta X and Steve Aoki announce that their collaboration on the Korean version of their track “Play It Cool” will release on February 18. Guys, that’s 5 days from now!
This collaboration is expected to produce a track that equally catchy as it is dancefloor-ready. Don’t even lie to yourselves. You know you heard the beats as soon as you read the names.
The track will be included in Monsta X‘s highly anticipated album Take.2 We Are Here.
The states are very familiar with Steve Aoki as he has been a 2-time Grammy nominated producer/DJ, and brought about the success of artists such as The Kills, Bloc Party, and The Chainsmokers.
Monsta X‘s starpower is on the rise, especially with the rise of popularity of K-Pop. Monsta X became the first K-Pop act to perform at iHeart Radio‘s Jingle Ball stage.
“It was such an honor and pleasure to work with Steve Aoki on our collaboration for the track ‘Play It Cool (Korean Version).‘ We are huge fans of his work, and we were so excited to find out that he is a fan of Monsta X as well. Steve is such a great guy, and he’s been like a brother to us. We had so much fun working together and are so excited to share the track with everyone on February 18th, when our album Take.2 We Are Here releases worldwide. More to come….special thank you to MONBEBE, our fans, without you none of this would be possible. We love you!!“
We can’t wait either! We also can’t wait for their first ever performance of this collaboration which will be held on February 21 during their comeback stages in Seoul, Korea.
