Air Max Day is almost here and ahead of the celebration, Nike has planned to release a handful of Air Maxes. With 2020 marking the 30-year anniversary of the Air Max 90, Nike has, once again, collaborated with the streetwear brand “Undefeated.” Thus, building on prior success, both Nike and Undefeated’s latest team-up included a new redefined Air Max 90.
This latest design replaces the rugged leather with a myriad of material referencing the 90s New York street scene. In respect of not changing the foundation of the sneaker, the shoe itself is stripped down and the silhouette features deftly reinterpreted for 2020.
From the imagery released by Nike we can expect another collab coming out March 26 but for now, the black colorway of the UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 90 is set to release March 14, 2020 at the Undefeated store. But for those who aren’t located near an Undefeated store, Nike is following up with a wider release on March 19, 2020 on the Nike SNKRS app. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
2020 marks the five-year anniversary of Kanye West’s first Yeezy sneakerrelease since signing with Adidas. After breaking record numbers in units sold in 2018, and ramping up the volume of silhouettes in 2019, this historical partnership between Adidas and Mr. West still shows clear signs of longevity as the high demand from the mainstream audience continues to show from one release to the next.
This offering of the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is composed of a cinder Primeknit upper with a tonal side stripe. A cinder boost cushioned midsole and gold outsole completes the design. This 350 V2 stays true to Yeezy’s signature silhouette, the sporting dark earth tones provide a natural feeling.
The Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Cinder” is set to release on March 21 at select retailers and adidas website. The retail price tag is set at $220 USD.
L.A. based designer Melody Ehsani and Jordan Brand have teamed up for an Air Jordan OG inspired by the WNBA and the 20th anniversary of Love and Basketball. Following up on 2019’s Air Jordan 1 Mid that was released as part of Jordan Brand’s “Fearless Ones” collection, Ehsani’s celebratory design is centered around cherries, known as a symbol of abundance, fertility and protection for women.
The sneaker features a black upper with red accents and relative piping along with cherry emblems. Ehsani and Nike reworked the 1998 model known as the Women’s Jordan, notable for being Jordan Brand’s first women’s specific sneaker. Ehsani’s Women’s Air Jordan OG is set to release on March 14 at the Melody Ehsani stores located in Los Angeles and New York City followed by another launch on March 19 on Jordan.com and at select Jordan Brand retailers. The retail price tag is set at $150 USD.
Jordan Brand is celebrating Air Max Month with a release of the Air Jordan 4 “Neon.” The Air Jordan 4 is inspired by the iconic Air Max 95 “Neon” edition.
Dressed in multiple shades of grey. This Air Jordan Jordan 4 features grey hues on its suede paired with white netting highlighted with Neon accents. To complete the design, there is 3M reflective “Nike Air” branding on the heel tab.
The “Neon” Air Jordan 4 Retro is set to release on March 21st on Nike.com and at select Jordan Brand retailers. The retail price tag is set at $225 USD.
