Somehow, StaySolidRocky has managed to one-up his smash hit, “Party Girl”. Last week, StaySolidRocky dropped the official remix of “Party Girl”, featuring none other than Lil Uzi Vert. The remix is exactly what the track needed and is a testament to Rocky’s rapid growth in popularity.
In just five days after its release, the official visualizer for the remix has racked up nearly half a million views on YouTube. The dark, cartoonish, and futuristic visualizer matches the track’s vibe perfectly and is as captivating as most music videos.
After hearing Uzi’s verse on the remix, it is clear that no other verse would’ve done this track justice. His feature serves as the cherry on top of an already great song, and he matches Rocky’s energy and theme beautifully.
2020 has been an incredible year for the young artist, who recently made it on Rolling Stone’s Breakthrough Artists chart. The original “Party Girl” track sits at over 58 million views and peaked at #26 on Billboard’s Top 100 Chart. And to top it all off, StaySolidRocky has officially announced the release of his EPFallin’, set to drop on Friday, July17th. The 7-track project will have singles “Vacant Hearts” and “Toxic” on it, with features from Big4Keezy and of course, Lil Uzi Vert.
At just 19 years old, StaySolidRocky has put out one of the hottest songs of the year and earned a feature from one of the genre’s most popular, sought-after figures. Along with a recent co-sign from Drake, any doubt about Rocky’s potential has been thrown out the window.
