2020 has been a fantastic year for London rapper Headie One. Since featuring on “Don’t Rush,” the rapper become a TikTok phenom. In July the rapper teamed-up with Drake on “Only You Freestyle.” The freestyle has amassed millions of views on YouTube, projecting Headie One as the new face of U.K rap. To end the year off great he released Edna, his debut album. The 20 song collection features guest appearances from Kaash Paige, Stormzy, and more.

It suitable to see TDE’s Reason back with his debut album, New Beginnings. About two weeks ago, the rapper took to Twitter to surprise his fans with a new album, along with a new visual teaser to one of the songs on the album. Before the release, the rapper expressed his time off from music, “I had to get rid of every fear, anxiety, doubt, and negative mindset to make this project…through it all, I’m just proud and thankful for the opportunity to share this part of myself with y’all.”

Back Home, Trey Songz

Family is everything to Trey Songz. Being a new father, the R&B singer expresses his love for his family with his new album Back Home. The album touches on different aspects of Trey Songz’s life dealing with heartbreak and injustice Black people face in their community. Why the title Back Home? The singer said, “I’m back home because the music feels that way, I hope you feel the same.”

We all know Memphis artist BlocBoy JB for his hyperactive music and dance moves. Having such a creative sound, the rapper is back with a tape entitled Fatboy. Again, partnering with his producer Tay Keith, the tape comes as a follow-up to JB’s last album I Am Me. The 17 track album features guest appearances from Yo Gotti, G Herbo, and more.
