November is off to good start with releases from Doe Boy, Nav, and more. Check out this week’s Music Fridays.
Emergency Tsunami, Nav and Wheezy
Nav and producer Wheezy teamed-up to give their fans a joint project entitled Emergency Tsunami. The artist-producer duo over the last few weeks teased the project before showing fans the 12-song track list. Just months ago, Nav released his third studio album Intentions, which reached number one on the Billboard 200. Wheezy produced multiple tracks also on Nav’s third studio album. The chemistry between the rapper and producer isn’t that far off. On the project is Gunna, Lil Baby, and more.
F*ck Love (Savage), The Kid LAROI
Sydney rapper, The Kid LAROI, added seven more tracks to his original mixtape F*uck Love. With new songs comes new features; the deluxe versions feature Machine Gun Kelly, Marshmello, and NBA Youngboy. 2020 has been a big year for The Kid LAROI, who’s currently nominated for three ARIA Awards: “Best Male Artist,” “Breakthrough Artist,” and “Best Hip-Hop Release.”
Demons R Us, Doe Boy and Southside
Doe Boy connects with producer Southside on his new album Demons R US. Right before the release, the rapper took to Twitter, saying, “I’m really dropping the biggest album of my career tonight…Y’all gotta blow my shit up and let a real n***** in the game.” The chemistry between Doe Boy and Southside is one of a kind; they complement each other’s sound with heavy-hitting 808’s beats and gritty lyrics.
Bandemic, Guap Tarantino
Freebandz artist Guap Tarantino has released his prominent mixtape entitled Bandemic. It’s safe to say the pandemic didn’t affect Guap Tarantino since he named his project Bandemic. The 10-track mixtape features guest appearances from Lil Yachty, Babyface Ray, and YTizzle.
Now or Never, Giggs
U.K. rapper Giggs dropped his new mixtape Now or Never. The project comes as a follow up to his 2019 studio album, BIG BAD. For those who don’t know Giggs, the rapper appears on Drake’s 2017 More Life song “KMT.”
