Gucci Mane vs Jeezy : The Battle That Never Ends

Many of us were all shocked to hear about 2 of rap’s very known OG’s, Gucci Mane and Jeezy, linking up for a versus battle next week. Gucci Mane posted a VERZUZ poster 2 days ago on November 14, with a caption stating “Tell buddy get ready.”

Fans were shocked to hear he was referring to none other than Jeezy, as they were originally expecting T.I to be appearing. Now for those who may have missed it, these two have had a feud that spans nearly 15 years. The crazy feud resulted in multiple diss tracks and unfortunately, even a death. 4 men broke into Gucci’s house in May of 2005, the incident resulted in Gucci fatally shooting one of the perpetrators, who turned out to be associated with Jeezy.

Jeezy claims he had no involvement in the attack. Gucci Mane was later exonerated for the shooting, as it was an act of self-defense, things clearly remained bitter between the two. However we are happy to see the two have agreed to put their feud aside for this rap battle, which fans are now highly anticipating, seeing as many have waited nearly 15 years for this. The two will battle it out track-for-track in Atlanta, on November 19th, 8pm ET. We’re excited to see how the battle pans out, and wish the best of luck to both Jeezy and Gucci Mane.
