This week’s Heat Check releases are exclusively Nike, featuring all new concepts we have never seen before. Nike has blessed us with the other half of the 2001 Nike Dunk “Ugly Duckling” pack with the Nike Dunk Low Ceramic 2020. Also featured is yet even more Nike Kobe 5 Protros with the Bruce Lee design and Nike Kobe 5 Protro Alternate Bruce Lee design. Last on our Heat Check list we have the Nike Air Force 1 Low 1-800 aka “Toll Free.”

Nike Air Force 1 Low 1-800

The official colorway for this new concept Nike Air Force 1 is white, vast grey, sail and black. Like the 07 version, the 2020 version features that classic silhouette with a white leather upper and different toned writing for the “Toll Free” and “1-800” text on the base of the entire shoe. This theme is meant to showcase aged advertising techniques; the text can also be seen on the heel tabs and sicklier of the sneaker. This shoe has grey swooshes and cream rubber midsoles with a white sole. This shoe is going to release on November 20, 2020 for a retail price of $130. These shoes are available for purchase on sites like StockX and Footlocker.

Nike Dunk Low Ceramic 2020

The official colorway for this Nike Dunk Low is black, ceramic and nori. Being the other half of the OG 2001 Nike Dunk “Ugly Duckling,” this 2020 shoe resembles the 2001 version greatly with the same color scheme and similar design. The suede upper overlays are in that sunburst/ceramic colorway and the underlays are featured in black to contrast. The nori accents are featured in the laces and the Nike swooshes, with a white midsole and an orange sole. This shoe releases on November 19, 2020 for a retail price of $100. Nike Kobe 5 Protro Bruce Lee

The official color way for this new concept Nike Kobe 5 Protro is del sol, metallic silver, comet red and black. This sneaker is a revamped version of the original 2010 release. Kobe had great admiration for Bruce Lee’s style and mentality, and applied it to his lifestyle by learning how to adapt and react in a split-second during games. The upper of this shoe is mainly black and yellow – or “del sol” – with yellow laces and red scratch marks near the toe box and heel sock lining. This shoe is going to release on November 24, 2020 for a retail price of $180. These shoes can be purchased on Champs, Footlocker, and resale sites like StockX.

Nike Kobe 5 Protro Alternate Bruce Lee

The official color way for this alternate sneaker is black, comet red and white. Unlike the other version of this Nike Kobe 5 Protro Bruce Lee shoe, which is featured mainly in yellow and black, this sneaker is mainly black and white on the upper and overlays with the comet red scratches complimenting the white overlay of this sneaker and gold Kobe Bryant signatures on the heel of the shoe. The white Nike Swoosh is outlined in comet red and the white sole rounds up the shoe. This sneaker is also going to release on November 24, 2020 for a retail price of $180. These sneakers can also be purchased on both the GOAT and StockX with prices varying on size.
