This week’s Heat Check is going to be featuring fresh concepts new to the sneaker world. This holiday season has definitely not disappointed with releases and I highly anticipate more to come as we transition into the new year. This week’s featured releases are the new Air Jordan 13 Black Hyper Royal. Also, the new Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Sand Taupe along with the Pharrell x Adidas NMD HU Brown Korean, and the new Sean Cliver x Nike SB Dunk Low Holiday Special.

The official colorway for this Air Jordan 13 is black, white, and “hyper royal.” The upper for this sneaker is mainly a black reflective textile with black tumbled leather on the toe. The hyper royal detailed overlay and accents complement the rest of the design. The black rubber sole and the iconic hologram jump man heel completes this Jordan 13 concept. Releasing on December 19 for a retail price of $190, these sneakers will be available on retail sites like Footlocker and Champs. These sneakers will also be available on sites like StockX before and after launch and on launch day, with prices varying per size.

The official colorway for this Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 is sand taupe. This solid colorway is part of the 2020 Yeezy holiday releases. The upper of this shoe is featured in light orange and tan Primeknit material, which is then contrasted by a lateral three-toned stripe on the exterior side of the shoe. Finishing off this shoe is the light brown, earth-toned rubber sole, encasing the signature boost cushioning featured on this model. The official color-way for this Nike SB Dunk Low is white, psychic blue, and metallic gold. Sean Cliver is the founder of StrangeLove Skateboards, and this “holiday special” follows up the previously released StrangeLove Skateboards x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration. The material for this sneaker is mainly composed of suede and leather. The “Holiday Special” theme is represented through the suedes composition evoking a wintery frost aesthetic. More holiday details can be found on the insoles of the shoe, which show graphic designs of elves alongside snowflake designs across the sock-liner and Sean Cliver’s signature. This shoe features metallic gold labeling on the heel and Nike swooshes with a white midsole and ice blue sole. This shoe is going to release on December 19 for a retail price of $110 and can be purchased on both StockX and GOAT.

The official colorway for this Pharrell x Adidas NMD HU is auburn and simple brown. The upper of this shoe is adorned in a tonal chocolate brown knitted material, which also features Korean characters embroidered into the material. Grey speckled laces with a matching lace cage and EVA overlay contrasts the upper of this sneaker. The boost midsole is also featured in that chocolate brown color.
