The month of January has provided an abundance of great releases. This week’s Heat Check will be featuring four sneakers from the brands Air Jordan, Nike, and Adidas. Making an appearance from Nike is the Nike Dunk Low WMNS Coast and Nike Dunk Low UNLV. Air Jordan released a new concept Air Jordan 13 Starfish colorway and Adidas dropped a new colorway for the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 named “Yecoraite.”
Air Jordan 13 Starfish
The official colorway for this Air Jordan 13 is white, black, and starfish. The signature dimple pattern on the upper of every AJ13 is featured in white tumbled leather. The defined starfish colorway is seen on the suede mudguards, heel and embroidered onto the Jumpman on the tongue. The inner lining, midsole, and outsole of this sneaker are all featured in black. This shoe is going to release on January 16 for a retail price of $190. Nike Dunk Low WMNS Coast
The official colorway for this Nike Dunk Low is sail, coast, university gold. This sneaker is dressed in a two-tone based design with the sail color covering the leather base of the shoe and the coast blue on the swooshes, laces, rubber outsoles, and inner lining. The university gold can be seen featured in branding on the tongue, insole, and heels. This shoe is going to release on January 14 for a retail price of $100. Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 Yecoraite
The official colorway for this Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 is yecoraite. The upper for this sneaker is featured in both a light grey and tan Primeknit material. To add some contrast in the upper, a light brown lateral hue is featured on the outside exterior of the sneaker. The rounded out cushioned sole of this shoe is featured in a light gum bottom coloring. This shoe is going to release on January 16 for a retail price of $230. Nike Dunk Low UNLV
The official colorway for this Nike Dunk Low is soft grey, university red, and white. This shoe was originally released in Nike’s 1985 “Be True To Your School” pack. The recent rebirth of the sneaker shows many similarities to the OG version. The leather upper is showcased in the light grey colorway while the university red covers the overlays, swooshes, and soles of this sneaker.
