The first week of Black History Month, the first Heat Check of February. February is well known for having nonstop great releases. Two weeks away from Allstar weekend, I’m sure we are going to see a multitude of all new concept sneakers and designs as this month progresses. The sneakers in this week’s Heat Check range from Nike, Adidas, and Air Jordan Brand. From Air Jordan, we will be featuring the Air Jordan 5 Anthracite and Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High OG. From Adidas, we will see the Pharrell X Adidas NMD HU Cream. Lastly, Nike will be dropping the Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Racer Pink.

Nike Air Force 1 Low Experimental Racer Pink

The official colorway for this Nike AF1 is racer pink, Arctic punch, sail, and opti-yellow. This sneaker is inspired by the oxygen masks used in the brands’ sports research lab, which are printed on the insoles of the shoe. The upper for this shoe is completely molded in the racer pink colorway. Other design features on this sneaker include the “N.354” printed on the lateral swoosh, padded tongue, and dual pull tabs. This shoe is all summed up with a gum bottom. This Air Force 1 is going to release on February 6 for a retail price of $130. You can purchase these sneakers on sites like Goat and StockX with prices varying by size.

Air Jordan 5 Anthracite

The official colorway for this Air Jordan 5 is anthracite, wolf grey, clear, and black. This sneaker has similar features to the OG version, keeping the reflective material on the upper and on the tongue, upper, bottom, and quarter paneling. The material on this Air Jordan 5 is unique with its mix of suede leather, textile, and translucent material, while still keeping the hallmark 23 branding on the heel and splatter finish on the midsole. This sneaker is going to release on February 6 for a retail price of $190. You can purchase these sneakers on release from stores like Footlocker and Champs and sites like StockX for a variated price.

Pharrell x Adidas NMD HU Cream

The official colorway for this Adidas NMD HU is cream, blue, and pink. The upper for this shoe is featured in a cream knitted material, then topped by black chenille used for the signature inspirational message embroidered on the forefoot. The blue and pink contrasting accents at the heel and front EVA overlays are also included. The cream boost midsole and clear brown lace cage can be seen above the rubber outsole. This shoe is going to release on February 5 for a retail price of $220, and can be purchased on both the GOAT and StockX with prices varying according to size.

Trophy Room x Air Jordan 1 High OG

The official colorway for this Air Jordan 1 is white, varsity red, sail, and black. This sneaker draws inspiration from the Air Jordan 1 High Chicago colorway model. These sneakers has its own color scheme but takes after a more premium/glorified version of the OG Chicago retro’s in a sense. This sneaker has a couple of notable features such as the glittery red overlays, Nike Air branding, Michael Jordan signature, and the aged yellow midsoles. This shoe is going to release on February 10 for a retail price of $170. These sneakers are very exclusive so it would be best to try and purchase them on release day from your select sneaker retailers like Footlocker. They will also be available on StockX and GOAT for variated prices depending on size.
