New Music from Drake, Lil Berete and More

It looks like Toronto is taking over Music Fridays with new releases from Drake and Lil Berete.

Gear up! It looks like Drake season is approaching. During the early hours of March 4, 2021, the rapper announced a three-song E.P. entitled Scary Hours 2. For those who don’t know, Scary Hours 2 is the sequel to Drake’s 2018 two-track E.P. The first installment featured the record “Gods Plan,” which ended up on 2018’s Scorpion. With Scary Hours 2 out now, Certified Lover Boy should be making its way to fans soon.

Only the Family, Lil Durk’s label, released their fourth compilation called Loyal Bros Compilation. With Lil Durk and the late King Von being at the forefront of OTF, they respectfully shine a light on their crew. Before the release date, the group released the lead single entitled “JUMP” featuring Durk, Von, and Booka600 featuring Memo600.

K CAMP has teamed-up with his label RARE Sound and iAmTheGENIUS on their latest project entitled RARE Family (Reloaded). The project features the RARE Sound roster including star K CAMP. Last spring, the label released a project entitled K CAMP & RARE Sound.

With PTSD making a year on February 28, G Herbo is back in the studio, releasing his latest singles “Really Like That” and “Break Yoself.” Ahead of the release, Herbo wrote on Twitter, “I ain’t drop sh*t since I dropped my album.” The songs are a follow-up to Herbo’s recent release, “Statement,” where he addresses the fraud charges against him.

Toronto rapper Lil Berete drops his highly anticipated ICEBREAKER 2 mixtape. The eight-track tape includes guest appearances from Sada Baby, Nafe Smallz, Unimerce, and 2KBABY.
