On G Herbo’s new album 25, the rapper opens a window to listeners into his world as he reaches 25. Coming from the Southside of Chicago, turning 25 is a milestone, a milestone Herbo rejoices that he’s alive. But there’s more to the album title as he shows love to his close friend who passed away. Ahead of the release, Herbo turned to Instagram is shared the full tracklist with fans. The tracklist features rap’s A-list stars such as Polo G, Gunna, Lil Tjay, Rowdy Rebel, and more.
Life of Betrayal 2x, Yungeen Ace
Florida rapper Yungeen Ace releases his debut album Life of Betrayal 2x. The album is a sequel to the 2018 Life of Betrayal. Ace reveals to fans that an album was in the works after releasing the leading single Giving Up. In an interview with The Source, the rapper said, “I’ve been working so long on this album, and I can’t wait for my fans to hear it finally.” The album features guest appearances from the late King Von, G Herbo, and more.
It Was Written (Expanded Edition), Nas
Twenty-five years ago, Nas released his critically acclaimed album. It Was Written. The album features hits, The Message, Street Dreams, and If I Ruled the World (Imagine That). The album also had appearances by Mobb Deep, Foxy Brown, and more. In celebration, Nas will re-release the classic album alongside rare bonus tracks.
Wasting Time, Brent Faiyaz ft. Drake
Produced by the Neptunes, Brent Faiyaz teams up with Drake on their latest single, Wasting Time. The cover art pays homage to Pharrell’s 2006 solo debut, In My Mind. Faiyaz takes the lead on vocals on the track while Drake follows up with a verse midway through the song.
