Young Dolph shines a light on his indie label Paper Route Empire on the compilation mixtape Paper Route Illuminati. The project features contributions from the label’s large and growing roster, with new songs by Key Glock, Memphis Street favorites like Big Moochie Grape and Kenny Muney, and new signees like Snupe Bandz, PaperRoute Woo, and Big Unc. It also welcomes Chicago’s China to the fold, introducing a heartfelt and raw perspective to the label’s roster, and rolls out the red carpet for Joddy Badass, a Brooklyn-born spitter and the First Lady of PRE.
HOFFA, Dave East & Harry Fraud
Dave East joined forces with producer Harry Fraud on HOFFA. The Harlem rapper dedicates this mixtape to Jimmy Hoffa’s forty-six years after the iconic figure disappearance. East first heard about the iconic figure on Jay-Z song Allure. Since then, the rapper has been inspired by the work of Hoffa. The project returns to crowd roused raps, inferring the picture of square-shaped dark Benzes, red checkered decorative spreads, and unfastened shirts uncovering at least one gold chain.
