Tensions ignited in early February 2025 when Big Meech appeared in a promotional video with 50 Cent’s longtime rival, Rick Ross. The clip, filmed on January 22, 2025, hyped a "Welcome Back" concert celebrating Big Meech’s release from prison in October 2024. 50 Cent didn’t take kindly to the association. He fired back on Instagram, posting an image of a rat with the caption, "I think I'm Big Meech," referencing Rick Ross's 2010 hit B.M.F. (Blowin' Money Fast). The implication of betrayal sparked the public fallout.
Social Media Warfare
Big Meech quickly retaliated, sharing an edited image portraying 50 Cent as a cheese-eating rat, dubbing him an "Internet Gangster." The feud snowballed, with former G-Unit member Young Buck siding with Big Meech and even 50 Cent’s estranged son, Marquise Jackson, mocking his father online. The drama spilled across social media, captivating fans and the industry alike.
Caught in the Crossfire: Lil Meech’s Struggle
Demetrius "Lil Meech" Flenory Jr., Big Meech’s son and star of BMF, was thrust into the middle of the feud. 50 Cent shared alleged text messages from Lil Meech expressing frustration and confusion over the situation:
"I can’t believe this man. U act as if I’m your enemy. I’ve only showed you love and loyalty."
Lil Meech also addressed his father’s ties to Rick Ross, revealing financial motivations:
"F*** Ross but he gave my dad some bread so he can afford to pay his bills until our next season starts."

The feud escalated further when 50 Cent accused Big Meech of cooperating with authorities, insinuating he had become an informant.
