Nick Cannon is well known to make us laugh as an actor and host, but lately, many of us have scratched our heads at his role as a father.

We all witnessed his marriage to Mariah Carey back in 2008 and when the couple welcomed their twins, Moroccan and Monroe, in 2011.

Though the two later divorced in 2016 they famously and harmoniously co-parented their beautiful children showing Nick as a doting father and overall success.

Fast forward five years later, the father of two began his journey to fatherhood year after year transforming him into a proud papa of 12 by 2022! Yes, you are reading the correctly!

Nick has gone on to welcome 10 more children with six different women in five years.

Though Nick makes it look joyful and easy, the reality of having such a big family comes with its challenges. He is only one person and has to divide his busy schedule between seven different homes at once. Financially, he is reportedly paying more than $3 million a year in child support.

In February 2017, Nick welcomed a son with Brittany Bell.

Model and PhD student Brittany Bell welcomed Nick's third child Golden Sagon on February 21, 2017. The two were reportedly dating at the time.

Brittany and Nick went on to welcome a second addition the their family, an adorable little girl named Powerful Queen on December 3, 2020.

In June 2021, Nick welcomed twins sons with Abby De La Rosa.

Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir were born on June 14, 2021. Their mom Abby was a DJ at the time that she conceived Nick's second set of twins, making him a father of six.

In June 2021, Nick also welcomed a son with Alyssa Scott.

The Instagram star and model welcomed son Zen on June 23, 2021, making him a father of seven. Sadly, two months after being born he was diagnosed with brain cancer.

The parents decided not to subject Zen to chemotherapy and focused on giving him the best quality of life possible. Five months after being born, Zen died after losing his battle with brain cancer.

In September 2022, also Cannon welcomed a son with Brittany Bell

Exactly one week after becoming a father of nine, Nick became a father of 10 with former Miss Arizona, Brittany Bell. Rise Messian Cannon was born, making him one of three children that Brittany and Nick share.

In November 2022, Abby De La Rosa gave birth to Nick Cannon’s 11th child.

Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon was born on November 11, 2022, — Nick’s third child with Abby. Zeppelin was his 11th child at the time.

Halo Marie Cannon was born on December 14, 2022, and is the pair's second child together. She is Nick Cannon’s twelfth child overall and was born one year after her brother Zen died from brain cancer.

It’s so funny — everybody’s always trying to get me to have more kids,” he added. “It’s like, 12 ain’t enough?," he told Men's Health in 2023. "People even often ask, ‘Are you gonna have more? You gonna stop?' I’m like, those are questions that I don’t really even sit around and think about."
