Wallo267 and the REFORM Alliance plan to tackle justice system inequalities head-on.

The REFORM Alliance has become a powerful force for change, tackling inequalities in the prison system that disproportionally impact people of color.

At the heart of the organization’s mission is to shed light on a broken criminal justice system. On Feb. 13, REFORM announced plans to continue that work – revealing that Wallo would take the reins as their new chief marketing officer.

Wallo explained that his time battling the legal system has prepared him for his new role.

“I was in a system my whole life,” Wallo said, adding, “But I’m just thankful now [that] people are more compassionate about people that have been through the system [and] making more opportunities available for them afterward, being more lenient in the probation and parole system.”

Wallo further explained that he hopes to build awareness for the organization. There are currently 18 bipartisan bills across 11 different states, which Wallo described as a "totally unimaginable" feat.

"Over 800,000 lives will be impacted by the reforms that took place. So, there’s a lot of victories, you know, and people need to know about that people need to know about it, they need to know how they can support and be a part of this movement,” he shared.

Wallo267 revealed his goal as REFORM Alliance’s chief marketing officer.

REFORM – started by Meek Mill, Jay-Z, Michael Rubin, Robert Kraft, Clara Wu, and Daniel S. Loeb – recognizes that there is still a lot of work to be done when it comes to prison reform, and Wallo is up for the task.
