Hip-Hop Legend Raekwon Delivers the Last “Community Linx”

Raekwon, Diadora and Foot Locker, Inc. collaborated to launch “Community Linx,” a series of product capsules built with and for local communities earlier this year. With each drop, the trio continue the campaigns mission of providing rising local music talent with the tools, resources, and insights needed to elevate their creativity.

The program kicked off with an NYC-inspired Diadora N9002 release paired with an invite-only, four-week beat-making course that brought Raekwon and guest judge, Dave East together with 16 up-and-coming NYC artists through mentorship.

The Community Linx program continued to make stops in key markets such as Philly, Detroit, Chicago and most recently Los Angeles.

The Diadora N9002 Houston features a brown colorway with a touch of blue, adorning a grey leather upper, rubber outsole for increased durability and traction, and Raekwon’s signature on the heel. The newest drop is available in men’s sizes exclusively sold at Foot Locker and Champs Sports beginning this Thursday July 21st for $120. The N9002 is an exclusive model for Foot Locker and Champs Sports.

In support of the final drop of the Raekwon x Diadora Community Linx “Houston” N9002, Foot Locker Houston will host a songwriting workshop with 10 upcoming hip-hop artists to improve songwriting skills and discuss fundamental song-writing techniques. Participants will be given an instrumental prior to the event to write a minimum of one chorus and one verse to.

During the event, participants will receive songwriting and lyric techniques, critique on participants’ projects, followed by a Q&A and will receive a pair of the Diadora N9002 Houston.
