Chauncey Alexander Hollis Jr., better known by his stage name Hit-Boy, is an American record producer, rapper, singer, and songwriter. He signed a two-year contract with Kanye West's GOOD Music production division in May 2011. Inspired by this, he created hit songs that went to number one on the charts, including the Diamond Certified "Niggas in Paris" by Jay-Z and Kanye West, "Trophies" by Drake, "Clique" by GOOD Music, and "Racks in the Middle" by Nipsey Hussle with Roddy Ricch. At the 2020 Grammy Awards, "Racks in the Middle" took home the Best Rap Performance trophy. After inking a recording deal with Interscope Records in December 2012, Hit-Boy established his own record label, Hits Since '87. With singles like "Drop the World" by Lil Wayne, "Sorry" by Beyoncé, and "Sicko Mode" by Travis Scott—all of which have received platinum or higher certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)—he has now broadened his repertoire of productions.
