Respected rapper, activist, and community leader Trae Tha Truth returns with ANGEL, a powerful new album that merges raw vulnerability with spiritual reflection. Out now, ANGEL marks a pivotal chapter in Trae’s storied career—one that places healing, legacy, and higher purpose at the forefront of his art.

The album features T-Pain, Dave Chappelle, Yolanda Adams, Chance The Rapper, LeCrae, Vory, Hunxho, and more.
“ANGEL is a reflection of everything I’ve carried—and everything I’ve let go,” says Trae. “This album isn’t just about struggle. It’s about transformation, survival, and shining even when the world tries to dim your light.”
To celebrate the release, Trae reunites with T.I. for a moving one-on-one conversation available now on YouTube. The album also arrives just days before Trae appears as a featured panelist at the 2025 ESSENCE Festival of Culture in New Orleans. He’ll take the Suede Stage at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on Sunday, July 6 at 2:30 PM CT.
Capping off a season of impact, Trae will host his annual Trae Day Weekend in Houston from July 17–20. Now a nationally recognized community event, Trae Day offers free concerts, school supplies, health screenings, and youth empowerment activities to underserved families across the region.
