Luxury supercars are designed to turn heads and stop traffic. You don’t have to be a motorsports enthusiast to know that there’s something special about these cars. They’re a living piece of engineering genius, often more suited to a Formula One track than a highway. Yet, some sports cars are in a league of their own, not just for their aerodynamic design but for their rarity.
Seeing one is like spotting a unicorn in the wild, and the attendees of Niagara 5000’s Hagerty Supercar Parade got the unique experience of seeing Canada’s only Aston Martin Valiant, owned by Angelo Paletta.

It is one of only two Valiant models in North America and one of just 38 in the world! This Aston Martin supercar led the display of supercars in aid of McMaster Children’s Hospital. What makes Paletta’s Aston Martin unique is that it’s not just a symbol of engineering excellence, but also of his philanthropic efforts.

Angelo Paletta’s Support of Niagara 5000’s Fundraising Efforts
Angelo Paletta is no stranger to Canada’s exclusive sports car scene, with an impressive private ‘Car Cathedral’ collection that includes multiple Ford GT models, a Ferrari 812 Competizione, and a McLaren 765LT. Two of the crowning jewels of this collection were put on display in early August in support of Niagara 5000’s fundraising for McMaster Children’s Hospital—the Ashton Martin Valiant and Aston Martin 2024 DB12.
As a sponsor and board member of Niagara 5000, Paletta led a motorcade of luxury sports cars during the Hagerty Supercar Parade in his 2025 Aston Martin Valiant. This $4 million sports car is the only one of its kind in Canada.

An avid motorsports enthusiast, Paletta is often trackside at circuits across the globe in support of McLaren, including attending the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, where McLaren secured the Constructors’ Championship. In his day-to-day life, you’ll find Paletta serving as the President and CEO of the TNG Capital Corp and TNG Exotics & Limited Editions.
Paletta’s impressive sports car collection is often used to support his philanthropic work. Along with his support of Niagara 5000, Paletta also sits on the board of other charities, including the Joseph Brant Hospital & Foundation, and as the former Chair of the Board for Carpenter Hospice.
Niagara Falls’ First Supercar Parade by Niagara 5000
The Hagerty Supercar Parade was held on August 8, 2025, as part of Niagara 5000’s weekend of events across Niagara-on-the-Lake, including a private hangar experience fundraiser at the Niagara District Airport.

It was the first Supercar Parade in front of Niagara Falls, led by Paletta in the Aston Martin Valiant, with a free public viewing of the cars. McMaster Children’s Hospital was chosen as the lead fundraising charity by the organization’s CEO, Alana Hurov, whose daughter lives with juvenile idiopathic arthritis and has been previously cared for at McMaster.
Decoding Canada’s Only Aston Martin Valiant
With his passion for all things motorsports, it’s no surprise that Angelo Paletta is the owner of Canada’s only Aston Martin Valiant. It is the most extreme front-engine road car Aston Martin has ever built. While the Valiant is considered road legal, its track-first design includes a 5.2-liter, twin-turbocharged V12 engine with motorsport-grade light weighting.

This car was commissioned by Fernando Alonso, a two-time Formula 1 World Champion and current Aston Martin F1 driver, evolving into a short production of just 38 models of the exclusive Aston Martin Valiant for public sale. Spearheaded by the engineering masterminds at Q by Aston Martin, it’s the latest special edition model from the iconic British automotive brand, synonymous with its involvement in premium motorsports and in the James Bond movies.
Similar to a Formula One car, the Aston Martin Valiant features an all-carbon fiber bodywork with aerodynamic features designed to reduce weight and increase downforce. It was inspired by the earlier Aston Martin Valour I and had its public debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed with Fernando Alonso.

It’s impossible to miss the Valiant with its ‘70s-inspired rear wing and magnesium wheels. The car also features an optional four-point racing harness to allow the driver to channel their inner F1 World Champion.
Paletta’s charitable endeavours demonstrate that these automobile masterpieces are more than just status symbols or collectibles, but vehicles that can support real change through charitable events like Niagara 5000.
He expressed, “We’re proud to be able to support MacKids through our ongoing philanthropic initiatives throughout the communities we serve.”
