Following his release from prison, Texas native Charleston White turned his attention to social media. He quickly became a viral sensation thanks to a series of feuds and controversial stances.
Charleston has since amassed more than 200,000 followers on Instagram, where he shares his take on societal issues and pop culture. But before Charleston reached viral acclaim, his life was completely different. He was released from prison in 1998 after serving seven years for a robbery gone wrong.
Charleston is now a popular talking head and he does not hold back when it comes to sharing his opinion on trending stories. The social media star turned motivational speaker has been involved in several notable spats, feuding with any rapper who crosses his path.
Charleston White criticized T.I.'s parenting skills.
Charleston gave unsolicited parenting advice to T.I. in 2022, which sparked a feud between the internet personality and the “Live Your Life” rapper. Charleston took to YouTube to address King Harris’ antics, suggesting that T.I.’s son was out of control.
"You going to jail. Dawg, your little boy going to jail just like your daddy. Going to jail just like your daddy went,” Charleston said (via XXL). Adding, “I’m talkin’ bout that God d--n Lil Boosie boy and that T.I. boy."
The Harris family was upset by Charleston’s comments and quickly responded to the jab.
“Come deal with the daddy,” T.I. said in a video posted to Instagram (via The Jasmine Brand.) “If you don’t want no trouble, what you keep kicking up dust for?”
The pair later talked through their problems over the phone, but the conflict was never fully resolved.
Charleston White called CPS on Finesse2Tymes.
Details surrounding Charleston’s feud with Finesse2Tymes are scarce. Things took a drastic turn with the internet personality called Child Protective Services (CPS) on the rapper, who was spending time with his 10-year-old artist, Lil King.
“I got a video that was sent to me that was made by this child online making threats,” Charleston told the investigator. “There’s videos of this child in the clubs at night with convicts, thugs around drugs and guns, and the kid’s name is Lil King."
Finesse2Tymes appeared unphased by Charleston’s antics. The rapper addressed the drama on Instagram by sharing a photo of Lil King with the caption: "It's too late, we gone.”
Charleston White maced Soulja Boy.
In 2022, Soulja Boy and Charleston were involved in a physical altercation that saw the “Crank That” rapper get maced. Charleston sat down with DJ Akademiks to explain his side of the story, claiming that Soulja and his crew tried to jump him.
According to Charleston, four men hopped out of Soulja’s sprinter van and rushed towards him. Charleston said that he maced the men out of fear, as he had no other way to protect himself.
However, Soulja had a different story. The rapper did not deny approaching Charleston, but implied that he simply wanted to confront the vlogger for making comments about him.
