SoCal rapper ScHoolboy Q gained notoriety as a member of the rap collective Black Hippy, alongside Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and Kendrick Lamar.
Thanks to the success of his debut studio album, Setbacks, in 2011, ScHoolboy Q began to garner widespread attention. However, it was ScHoolboy’s sophomore album, Oxymoron, that thrust him into the spotlight. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and featured hit singles like "Collard Greens" and "Man of the Year.”
ScHoolboy has earned his place in hip-hop and has continued to put out bangers. In February, he teased the release of his sixth studio album, Blue Lips, which is set to drop on March 1.

In 2015, ScHoolboy and A$AP teamed up again and the result was a song called “Electric Body.” Featured on A$AP’s At. Long. Last. ASAP, the song achieved moderate success. It rose to No. 27 on the Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart but only peaked at No. 80 on the Hot 100.
