Lil Tecca Isn’t Just a Rapper — He Makes Beats Too! Check Out His Producer Credits

There's a long list of young, New York rappers who are on the rise but Lil Tecca is one of the new-age luminaries who has the talent and versatility to earn a place among New York's rap royalty. Born Tyler-Justin Anthony Sharp, the 21-year-old Queens native's breakout single, "Ran$om," had massive success.

The anthem's catchy beat and Tecca's compelling lyrical ability helped to propel him to the top of his game and he hasn't stopped since. Some of his biggest hits have been "Did It Again," "Love Me," and "Prada."

Although he's best known for being a rapper, he also has some impressive producer credits under his belt. But what songs has he produced? Read on for more!

Lil Tecca first released his debut album, Virgo World, in 2020 — it debuted at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. He released We Love You Tecca 2 a year later and followed that up with TEC in September of 2023.

For Tecca, who continues to hone his craft, his latest album has been a step in the right direction for the rapper-producer.

"You're definitely going to feel a various amount of emotions throughout this project. There's hype songs; there's cocky songs; there's flexing; there's sad; there's insecure. There are songs where I'm trying to manifest my future," he told the Recording Academy.

In addition to the songs on his 2023 album, Tecca has also produced songs for lesser-known artists like SoFaygo and BenjiCold. Needless to say, his impressive repertoire shows the depth of his talent.

Lil Tecca first became interested in music when he was nine years old and started rapping over beats and collaborating with his friends on his Xbox.

He has received a lot of commercial success. His breakout single, "Ran$om," has garnered over one billion plays on Spotify and 400 million views on YouTube as of this writing.

Throughout his career, he's been widely celebrated and recognized for his talent and growing fan base.

Lil Tecca has received nominations for awards. At the MTV Video Music Awards in 2019, "Ran$om" was nominated for Song of the Summer. The same year, he won a Streamy Award for being the year's Breakthrough Artist, and in 2020, he won Best Push Act.

Lil Tecca's music has evolved over the years, proving he is not afraid to explore. Although his last two albums did pretty well, his most recent output of work seems to have elevated his status in the hip-hop world.
