The Louis Vuitton x Timberland Boots Are the Streetwear Collaboration We Didn't Know We Needed

Streetwear and luxury fashion have finally collided thanks to a collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Timberland.

The partnership merges high fashion with streetwear with a one-of-a-kind collection. This collaboration, spearheaded by creative director Pharrell Williams, blends Louis Vuitton's signature elegance with Timberland's rugged aesthetic.

In a statement to Highsnobiety, Louis Vuitton promised that their Timbs pay homage to the original design but with a modern twist.

“A classic industrial boot is proposed in wheat-colored or black waterproof scrivante nubuck lightly debossed with the Maison’s Monogram,” the release reads. “The boot likewise appears in pebble nubuck and super-grained buffalo nubuck versions. The same expression expands into a silhouette fifteen percent larger than the classic."

Fashion heads first got a glimpse of the boots at the showcase during Louis Vuitton's 2024 Men's Fall-Winter showcase. During the fashion show, models rocked western-inspired outfits, which were complimented by the new LV Timbs.

Pharrell has long been a fan of the infamous footwear brand. He was spotted wearing a pair of gray Timbs while leaving the TODAY show in 2016. Years later, in 2024, the Louis Vuitton and Timberland collection was born.

If you are looking to grab a pair of the luxury boots, be prepared to fork over a hefty amount of cash. According to Forbes, the starting cost for the Louis Vuitton Timbs is set at $1,150 and goes up to $1,530.

The publication further reports that Louis Vuitton sales plummeted in 2023, but the brand is hopeful that Pharrell’s collections will introduce them to a new audience.

The Louis Vuitton Timberland boots made their official debut during Pharrell’s fashion showcase in January. However, potential buyers will have to wait to get their hands on a pair.

Sole Retriever reports that the boots will become available sometime in the Fall, but an official release date has yet to be announced. In the meantime, Pharrell plans to periodically release more new items from the 2024 LV collection.

“Pharrell is unveiling the collection piece by piece, because it is already 20 days that he wears [items from] the show,” said Pietro Beccari, the LV chairman and chief executive officer (per Women’s Wear Daily). “He’s impatient and I said, ‘He’s the client, right? So that’s it.’”
