Drake became a fan’s "Rich Baby Daddy."
Drake is already a rich baby daddy, as he shares his son Adonis with Sophie Brussaux. But during a show on March 16, the MC gifted a pregnant fan $25,000.
The fan was holding up a sign asking Drake to be her “Rich Baby Daddy,” and the rapper complied.
“Well, first of all, I don’t wanna offend your real baby daddy, but I would love to,” Drake said. “First of all, get you out of the pit so we can put you somewhere safe like the VIP or some s--t.
J. Cole gave fans an update on his latest album.
For fans of J. Cole who have been waiting for a full-length project from the North Carolina MC, it appears the album will be finished soon. During a stop on the It’s All a Blur — Big as the What? tour, Cole gave fans an update on his highly anticipated LP.
“Right now, I’m at the tail-end of working on this album I’ve been working on for a long time,” Cole exclaimed. “It’s called The Fall Off.”
While Cole has not revealed an official release date – fans can expect the album to drop in 2024.
Travis Scott’s head made an appearance.
Drake and J Cole’s tour opened up at Tampa’s Amalie Arena, and it was a movie. From the songs to the stage props, fans were captivated by the entire show. For the second leg of the It’s All a Blur, Drake added Travis Scott’s floating head to the concert.
The animatronic figurine floated over the crowd as Drake performed “Sicko Mode,” and the crowd loved it. The song is one of Travis’ biggest records – it peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, selling more than 10 million records (per RIAA).
Drake paid tribute to two fans who died after his concert.
After Drake and J. Cole’s show on Feb. 14, a mother and daughter duo who attended the show was struck and killed by a speeding car as they crossed a St. Louis road. When the It’s All a Blur reached Buffalo, Drake took a moment to pay tribute to the fans.
“I saw a video today and it had me a little f**ked up,” he said. “I don’t mean to dampen the mood, but I saw a video today that we had a show in St. Louis and a mother and her young daughter lost their life leaving the show.”
