Rapper Bankroll Freddie’s career took a major hit in 2022 when the rapper was arrested in connection with a drug trafficking operation in Arkansas.

Freddie has been a rising star in hip-hop after his “Lil Baby” freestyle went viral. Freddie later took part in the City Girls’ #ActUpChallenge, delivering a raw verse that caught the attention of Quality Control CEO Pierre “P” Thomas.

Freddie released his debut mixtape, From Trap to Rap, in 2019, and the project was a hit. The record showcased his raw talent and garnered praise from fans and hip-hop heads. Since then, Freddie has continued to build momentum, releasing hit after hit and collaborating with some of the biggest names in the industry. Songs "Drip Like This" and "Add It Up” catapulted his success, but things went left shortly after.

According to a federal indictment, the Quality Control rapper – along with his father, Freddie Gladney Jr. – were detained as a part of a statewide effort that saw the arrest of more than 40 people. Freddie’s case has since evolved, and he is now facing another legal battle. Here is an update on Freddie’s trial.
