In recent years, Jeezy’s personal life has become just as publicized as his music career.
The “Put On” MC has had a notable presence in the music industry for decades, releasing 11 studio albums since 2005’s Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101.
However, his personal life has also been a topic of equal interest.
The rapper's relationship history is marked by high-profile romances and a few public scandals. Here is a breakdown of the women Jeezy has been romantically linked to.
Keyshia Cole
According to Showbiz Cheat Sheet, Jeezy and Keyshia Cole dated in 2005, but their romance was brief. Two years after the pair started dating, Jeezy and Keyshia decided to go their separate ways, with the rapper later claiming that he turned down a marriage proposal from the “Heaven Sent” songstress.
“I was grown enough to tell her, ‘Look, baby, that isn’t what it is right now. I’m trying to get my s--t together. I’m trying to get my money, take care of me and mine,’” he told Vibe (per Madame Noire.)
Jeezy and Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin.
Jeezy had a long and tumultuous relationship with Mahlet “Mahi” Gebremedhin that ended in a bitter court battle. Jeezy and Mahi started their relationship in 2010, The Atlanta Black Star reports.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Amra Nor, in 2014. They then went on to get engaged, but their relationship went sour shortly after. Jeezy and Mahi split in 2019, and a bitter custody battle ensued.
Mahi accused the rapper of failing to comply with their child support agreement, and Jeezy responded by suggesting that his ex was jealous of his relationship with Jeannie Mai.
In court documents obtained by Bossip, Mahi asked for Jeezy to be held in contempt for refusing to make child support payments and denying her request for a new car. In his response, Jeezy stated that Mahi had totaled the car he had previously bought for her and was dissatisfied with the replacement vehicle he provided.
Jeezy and Jeannie Mai appeared to be destined for marital bliss.
Jeezy made no secret of his love for Jeannie Mai during their five-year relationship. According to People, Jeezy and Jeannie’s romance began after meeting on the set of The Real in 2018.
“Jeezy and I hang out,” Jeannie said during an episode of the daytime program (per Entertainment Tonight). “He's very special to me, so we don't really have a label to define what it is we're doing. We're just having a good time together.”
In 2020, Jeezy went the extra mile by popping the question to Jeannie while they were quarantined together during the pandemic. They got married a year later, tying the knot in a private ceremony in their Atlanta home. The couple welcomed their first child together – and Jeezy’s third – in 2022 before things went left.
Jeezy filed for divorce in 2023, with Jeannie claiming she was blindsided by the rapper’s actions.
"When I found out at the same time as the rest of the world that my marriage was ending in divorce, I was gutted," she said during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show. The drama worsened after Jeannie accused Jeezy of abuse.
Jeezy denied Jeannie’s accusations and suggested that she concocted the story because he “declined to have a second child with her,” Entertainment Tonight reports.
