Who are Keyshia Cole’s siblings?

Keyshia Cole has three known siblings.

Neffeteria "Neffe" Pugh, known for her real and relatable presence, became a familiar face after starring in Keyshia's BET series, Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is. Neffe and Keyshia's mom later debuted a spinoff television program called Neffie and Frankie. Additionally, Neffe previously appeared on OWN's Iyanla Fix My Life.

She is Keyshia’s oldest sister who was born in California and has 5 children. She and Keyshia have had their fair share of public feuds in the past, but they've reconciled since then.

Sean Cole, who also goes by the name Nutt-so, is a rapper who is from Oakland, Calif. He started his rap career in a group called Street Thugs alongside members Pound and Mo-Savage. He also recorded 10 songs with the late Tupac Shakur.

Elite Noel, Keyshia’s younger sister, is also a singer-songwriter. She was born in Oakland, Calif., too, and was featured on all three of Keyshia’s reality TV shows. There is not a lot of public information available about Elite.

Who are Keyshia Cole’s parents?

Keyshia was born to Francine “Frankie” Lons. The singer had been estranged from her biological father since birth. Frankie gave Keyshia up for adoption while she was struggling with addiction.

When Keyshia was two years old, she was adopted by family friends Yvonne and Leon Cole.

Keyshia didn't meet her father, Virgil, until she was 34 years old.

“After 34 years I knew at that time, a paternity test was in place, well the results are in, and this is my father," Keyshia captioned a since-deleted photo on Instagram in 2016 (per Rolling Out.) "His name is Virgil Hunter, and at this present time, I’m in Oakland spending time, getting to know him!"

"The story behind this is beyond me! God has his hands all in this! I’m so excited, so excited with taking this a day at a time," the singer added.

Keyshia’s mother, adoptive father, and biological father have all passed away.

What happened to Keyshia Cole’s mom?

Keyshia Cole’s mom Frankie died of an accidental fentanyl overdose on her 61st birthday, July 18, 2021.

Frankie had gained fans over the years by starring on reality TV. Fans got a first-hand look at Frankie's trials and tribulations as she battled addiction. She tried to mend her relationship with her daughters while she was alive.

Later, Keyshia depicted her mother in her Lifetime biopic Keyshia Cole: This Is My Story, which was released in 2023.
