Controversial rapper Kanye “Ye” West is gearing up to drop a new album, his second in 2024. The always unpredictable rapper is reportedly gearing up to drop a new album titled Bully. The news comes months after Ye dropped Vultures 2, and it achieved moderate success.

“I got a new album coming out,” Ye told fans at his show in Wuyuan River Stadium in China. “The album’s called ‘Bully,’ and this song is called ‘Beauty and the Beast.'”

Hours later, the rapper took to Instagram to share a teaser for the new album, but the post has since been deleted, according to Variety. Here’s what we know about the album’s release date.

When will Kanye’s ‘Bully’ album be released?

Kanye has revealed plans to drop a new album titled, Bully, but the details are scarce. However, he gave fans a sneak peak of one of the tracks from the album called “Beauty and the Beast.”

"I still think about it every night and day to try to stay away, to keep my audience / Don’t take this disrespect, I’m sitting here trying to redirect,” Ye raps. And while Kanye seemed excited about the new project, he did not share a release date.

Additionally, fans of the Grammy-winning performer are hesitant to get their hopes up too high. “"Coming" "Soon" AKA multiple demos versions of loose tracks leaking in 2 years and compiled by fans on YouTube as the album,” one person tweeted in response to Ye’s announcement.

While another wrote, “He’ll say he’s dropping it every week for 52 weeks after its expected drop date.”

Kanye West’ previous album drops have been messy.

Fans of Ye are taking every album announcement with a grain of salt, as there are several issues that prompted the delay of his Vultures projects. Though no official explanation has surfaced for the delay, some speculate that Kanye was still working on last-minute changes.

One instance saw the Chicago-born rapper attempt to use a sample from the famed Backstreet Boys song “Everybody.”

However, sources close to the band told TMZ that Ye never got permission to use the track. In Kanye’s version of the song, the chorus is performed by Charlie Wilson but the clearance problem persisted.

Ye’s “Everybody” was ultimately left off Vultures, leaving some fans upset.
