As one of the greatest female groups in hip-hop and pop music, TLC changed the industry in ways they may not have realized at the time. Their music is a mix of empowerment and good old-fashioned fun. Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, and Rozonda "Chilli" Thomas make up the group and became a worldwide sensation after their first album debuted.
They released classic hits like "Creep" and "Waterfalls," and Left Eye's contributions to every song in their canon stand out clearly.
Now, there are only two living members of the group left. In 2002, while on a spiritual retreat in Honduras, Lisa Lopes was tragically killed in a car accident. What makes her passing even more haunting is that her final moments were captured on film as she was documenting her journey.
The last decade of her life was filled with trials and tribulations, especially overflowing with trials of the heart. Lisa's name was often in the headlines due to the turbulent romantic relationships she was in.

One thing that is seldom talked about is Lisa's friendship with Tupac Shakur. Those closest to Lisa said that the bond between the two of them was both obvious and strong, even to the point in which both parties felt like the other's soulmate.
Their close relationship made Andre jealous, and he even believed that they slept together. However, both Lisa and her family state that they never did and that Tupac told Lisa never to sleep with him. These two soulmates both came to tragic ends.
Suge Knight has said in the past that he and Lisa had a physical relationship while she was engaged.
Lisa eventually decided to leave TLC to pursue her solo career and began working with Suge Knight on her new album. Suge, in addition to saying that she and Tupac were soulmates, also said that he was intimate with her on a few occasions, but this has not been fully confirmed.
Despite these rumors, Lisa and Andre eventually got engaged and had plans to marry in 2001 before their relationship came to an end. Lisa had a complex love life, but her influence on music and as an artist lives on today.
