The Breakdown: In addition to his thriving and sometimes hectic career, Young Thug is a dad. His personal life has been filled with drama during his time in the spotlight. Let's meet his baby mamas.

Rapper Young Thug became a dad at the age of 17 and now has three sons and three daughters. In a 2016 interview with GQ, he called parenthood one of the hardest things he has ever done. They ain't easy. It be like, ‘If I could take this back? Yes, what the f**k was I thinking!’” Thug said, adding, “It's not even taking care of the kids. The main part is you won't be able to do what you always did. That's the number one rule to having a kid: You can't be who you were.”

Thug's co-parenting journey has also faced some challenges. In past social media rants, he expressed frustration over custody arrangements, questioning why he couldn't have custody despite his financial stability.

He also voiced concerns about his children's living conditions and his desire to be more present in their lives. “When you bombs give me custody, then I’ll be able to see them every day, but until then, I’ll just pay my child support that I put myself on,” he tweeted.

Young Thug has three baby mamas.

One of Thug’s messiest relationships was with Jerrika Karlae. The two got engaged in 2015, and parted ways in 2020 – but the drama during their time together was plentiful. In 2017, whispers of infidelity surfaced, causing Jerrika to announce that she was "back on the market." Despite attempts to reconcile, the couple faced further challenges. By December 2020, Jerrika publicly ended their engagement, labeling Thug as the "devil" and accusing him of relentless abuse and chronic cheating.

Thug and LaKevia Jackson also have a 14-year-old son together. Tragically, in March 2022, LaKevia was shot and killed outside Atlanta's Metro Fun Center after a dispute over a bowling ball, Fox 5 reports. Initially, two individuals were arrested in connection with her death, but by November 2023, charges were dismissed after claims of self-defense were upheld in court.

Additionally, the rapper shares a child with a woman known as K. Ragland. Not much is known about K., but she made headlines in November 2024 when she publicly praised Mariah the Scientist for helping maintain Thug's bond with his kids during his legal battles. Cleo, who goes by Cleotrapa on social media, is another of Thug's baby mamas. In March 2024, she found herself in the spotlight when rumors swirled about a physical altercation with Mariah.

Young Thug is a proud father of six kids.

While Thug continues to thrive in the hip-hop game, he's also navigating the complexities of being a famous dad. In his 2016 interview with GQ, Thug revealed that his kids cannot attend private school because he is too famous.

He also explained that he avoids going to parent-teacher meetings because he would probably cause a distraction. “They probably freak out. I can't do stuff like that. It's just hectic,” he said.
