Box Office Bosses: Your Favorite Rappers Have New Movies Dropping in 2024
Not only do rappers make our favorite songs — they also entertain us on the big screen. These are the movies starring rappers that are dropping in 2024!

There's nothing more exciting than seeing your favorite hip-hop artist on the big screen. There are plenty of rappers who put down the mic to pursue a career on the big screen and in 2024, many of them are showing off their talents in new movies.
In 2023, Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Kid Cudi starred in box office hits like House Party and rapper T.I. starred in the psychological thriller Fear. Wiz Khalifa starred in Spinning Gold while 50 Cent was in Expendables 4.
We have a few movies to look forward to seeing our favorite rappers in this year, too. Tune in for a brief description along with the anticipated release dates below!
"Bad Boys 4" — Will Smith
Bad Boys 4 is the follow-up to the last installment of the franchise Bad Boys For Life.
Though the plot is unknown, this is Will Smith’s quickest turnaround for a sequel in his history of acting. The plot is unknown but we do know that the cast includes Martin Lawrence, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Eric Dane, and Tasha Smith.
Release date: June 14th, 2024.
"Underdogs" —Snoop Dogg
Jaycen "Two Js" Jennings, played by Snoop Dogg, is a washed-up ex-professional football player in Underdogs.
When Jaycen is sentenced to community service after having a run-in with the law, he is ordered to coach a pee-wee football team and is given an opportunity to turn his life around for the better. The cast includes Snoop Dogg, Mike Epps, Andrew Schulz, George Lopez, and Tika Sumpter.

"A Hip Hop Story" — Treach from Naughty by Nature, Fredro Starr, Lil Mama
A Hip Hop Story was produced by Affian Crocket.
In the comedy, Affion plays Russell Simmons, who tells the great story of how he saved hip-hop. The star-studded cast includes many artists such as Treach from Naughty by Nature, Fredro Starr, and Lil Mama.
Release date: Feb. 23
"Breathe" — Common
This action thriller is set in a time when the most necessary element, air, is low on supply. Because the air supply is limited, a mother-daughter duo played by Jennifer Hudson and Quvenzhané Wallis are forced to fight strangers in order to survive.
They have to live underground, only coming up to the surface for short trips in a special suit made by Common's character.
