NBA YoungBoy is a father to 12 children.

YoungBoy welcomed his first child, Kayden, when he was just a teenager. He’s gone on to have kids with several women, including Yaya Mayweather, daughter of boxing champ Floyd Mayweather. Their son, Kentrell Jr., was born in 2021, and that situation got messy fast. Yaya caught a charge over a stabbing incident involving one of YoungBoy’s other baby mamas.

Despite the drama, YoungBoy has been vocal about loving his kids. He regularly shares flicks of his children on social media and even name-drops them in his music. His 2022 album, “The Last Slimeto,” features bars that speak to his life as a young dad juggling fame and family.

His most recent additions came in 2022 and 2023, including with his current wife, Jazlyn Mychelle, who gave birth to their second child together, Klemenza, in early 2023. Jazlyn and YoungBoy tied the knot in Utah, where he was on house arrest for a federal gun charge.

NBA YoungBoy was pardoned by Donald Trump.

YoungBoy is back on the scene after receiving a presidential pardon from Donald Trump. The rapper was serving a 23-month sentence for federal gun charges and was on probation for additional offenses when Trump granted him clemency. The pardon wipes away his remaining legal obligations, including probation and mandatory drug testing, allowing him to focus on his music and family.

In a statement posted online, YoungBoy said he was excited to return to fatherhood. “I want to thank President Trump for granting me a pardon and giving me the opportunity to keep building — as a man, as a father, and as an artist," the rapper wrote (via Fox News).

YoungBoy's legal issues have been well-documented. In 2024, he was sentenced by a federal judge in Utah after acknowledging possession of firearms despite being a convicted felon. He reached an agreement that resolved Utah state charges and settled two sets of federal charges, resulting in a lengthy sentence, five years of probation, and a $200,000 fine.

The pardon has elicited mixed reactions. Snoop Dogg praised the decision. Snoop told TMZ, "Playas may mess up, but second chances are invaluable.”

However, some officials expressed concern. Cache County Sheriff Chad Jensen and County Attorney Taylor Sorensen released a joint statement defending their prosecution efforts. "We feel strongly the Justice System in Cache County is far from a 'weaponized system of justice,’” Scorense said in a statement to The Salt Lake City Tribune.
