A Closer Look At Teyana Taylor’s Sweetgreen Partnership and Her Overall Net-Worth

American singer, songwriter, actress, and creative Teyana Taylor officially partnered with healthy food-serving American fast casual restaurant chain Sweetgreen to make an impact in the communities surrounding Atlanta, with a focus on single mothers.

Teyana Taylor has predominantly worked in the music and film industries, creating huge success for herself. According to Celebrity-Networth, the Harlem-born star currently has a net worth of $5 million and is recognized as one of the richest celebrities and singers.

Taylor's partnership with the food chain Sweetgreen is set to assist the Tender Foundation in providing resources to marginalized single mothers. The Tender Foundation is an Atlanta-based organization that essentially offers housing, food, financial support, and resources to single mothers in need.

The partnership, which launched in November 2023, was activated over four days at Sweetgreen’s location at Ponce City Market in Atlanta, GA, where Taylor also showed up for a meet and greet. As part of the activation, Taylor created a “Teyana Taylor Plate”.

The ingredients in the Teyana Plate include Sweetgreen’s new tender herb roasted chicken, a scoop of wild rice, hot roasted sweet potatoes, creamy vegetable slaw, spicy broccoli, hot sauce, and a better-for-you BBQ sauce.

Locations that hosted the activations in Atlanta include Sweetgreen Peachtree Emory Village, Lenox Square, Prince City Market, Perimeter, and West Midtown..

The Teyana Taylor and Sweetgreen partnership arrived at a time when the choreographer's personal life had been headlining the news. Taylor filed for divorce from her long-time partner, former NBA star Iman Shumpert. The two met in 2011; they were together for 10 years, married for seven, and they share two children, Iman "Junie" and Rue Rose Shumpert.

It has been reported that Taylor is seeking primary physical custody, joint legal custody, and child support.

Shumpert, Taylor's ex-husband, allegedly made the split public, creating a buzz on social media, with different people writing think pieces and weighing in on the divorce. Taylor expressed her frustrations in a lengthy Instagram story, expressing disappointment over the details of her divorce being made public.

She broke her silence, saying that the statements circulating in the media about her divorce were not hers but an extract from a leaked court document.

On her Instagram, the singer posted, "I mind my business, don't bother nobody & y'all know I've never played about my children, family, & our privacy. I have not spoken on this private matter to any media outlets, or blogs, etc. So everyone claiming, 'Teyana said,' didn't get any statements directly from ME".

"These statements were taken from private court documents that were leaked to the public. It is very heartbreaking that someone would take out the time to make such a private matter public for the world to see," she added. In the documents, Shumpert is accused of extreme emotional and mental abuse towards the 32-year-old singer.

Teyana Taylor's lawyer, Tanya Mitchell Graham, said, "Ms. Taylor has strived to settle this matter peacefully and confidentially for all concerned." Iman's attorney, Stephen Steele, has asked that the proceedings be handled delicately for the well-being of Teyana and their two children involved in this divorce to ensure efficiency and a successful outcome.

"Mr. Shumpert hopes parties and counsel can work toward a fair resolution, keeping the best interests of the children of paramount concern," Steele told TMZ.
