New Year, New Kicks — These Are the Most Highly-Anticipated Sneaker Drops of 2024

For self-proclaimed sneakerheads, 2024 promises a series of drops that will fuel excitement within the streetwear community.

As major footwear designers prepare to unveil their latest creations, anticipation is growing as collectors wait patiently for their chance to cop the newest sneakers. Brands like Nike, New Balance, and Jordan have all set dates for their upcoming releases.

Fans of high-end footwear are in for a treat as the year is set to bring in new collabs and the return of some classic kicks. For sneaker lovers hoping to score big, here are some of the freshest sneakers coming in 2024.

For the lowkey streetwear fanatics, JJJJound and adidas have a new collaboration on the way. The Samba sneaker comes in white, black, and tan colorways. The collab is set to be released in March and will go for $250 a pair.

The Air Jordan 4 Bred Reimagined pays homage to the original and retro versions of the classic kicks — but with an updated vibe. The body of the sneaker is made from premium black leather with grey and red accents. The sneaker is expected to hit retailers on Feb. 17, and will go for a hefty $215.

This one is for the ladies! Within Jordan Brand's Spring 2024 lineup is the Nike Air Jordan 2 – a colorway designed exclusively for women. The palette features a fusion of Sail, Coconut Milk, and Black tones, creating a clean and crisp aesthetic. The sneakers are set to drop on Jan. 10 and will be available for $175.

Following the success of the Action Bronson x New Balance 990v6 “Baklavas” (released in 2023) Action Bronson has reconnected with New Balance for a new set of kicks.

The “Actin Cray” rapper’s latest footwear creation comes in two colors – teal and yellow. During an appearance on the Complex Sneakers Show, Action confirmed that there is a third colorway in the works called Rosewater. He later shared an image of the sneakers on his Instagram but did not give a definite release date.

The Air Jordan 14 Low WMNS Love Letters come in a metallic teal colorway that will only be available in women’s sizes.

The integration of a black nubuck collar and foam midsole enhances their overall appeal, adding to the shoe's stylish presentation. The sneaker also features a metallic silver shank plate and the recognizable Jordan ankle logo.

Those looking to cop a pair will have to wait until Feb. 24. When they drop, the sneakers will be available online and in-stores for $180.

Nike is bringing back a classic favorite, the Foamposite One, in eggplant. Originally released in 2009, the Eggplant Foams have a purple color scheme and a translucent blue rubber sole. The nubuck material and pull tabs are black while the logo is a vivid purple.

The sneakers are set to be released in Spring 2024 and will retail for $240.
