DaniLeigh does not disappoint in her new single "Tasty." The Miami native showcased her sultriness, talent, and confidence with her new sexy treat — the details ranging from bedroom fantasies to Timbaland-inspired beats.
DaniLeigh kicks off her most confident and charismatic chapter yet, so if you're hungry for more on the song and the "Easy" artist, get ready! "Tasty" is just the beginning.
What is "Tasty" about?
Entitled "Tasty," DaniLeigh turns up the heat on top of a thick bass line as her vocals drip over the seductive beat. The Miami phenomenon unapologetically delivers a ton of double entendre during raw and raunchy verses topped off with the hook, "I'm tasty," and a command, "Savor it."
This arrestingly catchy anthem might just be her boldest to date. Some of the lyrics include:
"Sweet as crème brûlée / Eat it till it's sorbet / This sh*t ain't Minute Maid / You should let it marinate / Put it on my plate / That's the dinner date / I'm a grab ya / In between these legs."
It's safe to say DaniLeigh isn't holding back when delivering on her sexy side in this single.
Last year, she captivated the world with the critical and fan favorite MY SIDE EP. Highlighted by "Dead To Me" and "Heartbreaker," it has generated over 10 million cumulative streams and counting.
How did DaniLeigh get famous?
DaniLeigh started her career as a backup dancer and spent her time posting covers of popular songs on YouTube. After her family's restaurant closed in Orlando, she became the primary source of income. After moving to Los Angeles, she did choreography for artists and continued dancing. She toured with Jeremih and J. Cole as a backup dancer and was even offered work with Meghan Trainor, which she turned down to meet with record label executives.
DaniLeigh got her big break when she was discovered by the late legend Prince, whom she worked with on the music video for his single, "Breakfast Can Wait."
"I don't know exactly how [Prince] found me," DaniLeigh told RollingOut. "He never told me where, but I was consistently dancing in the game for different artists. And one day, I just got an email saying, 'Prince, the artist, wants you to submit a choreography video for his new video.' I was like, 'Oh, my God. What? OK!' I did a little submission with me dancing, and he was like, 'OK, write a treatment, and I'm going to give you a budget for you to direct this video.'"
What is DaniLeigh's net worth?
Although there isn't a definite answer on the artist's set net worth, it falls between $2 and $7 million. DaniLeigh's songs Easy and Lil Bebe are certified platinum and add to her wealth as a singer, songwriter, and choreographer. According to CaKowledge, she makes an annual income of around $500,000. Her YouTube is also still active where she has more than 1.45 million subscribers.
